Gorilla Dreams – A Poem Found by A Rabbit Hole – Redux

Ever feel like your spirit
echoes a sound that you
haven’t quite heard before

Like reading a book
for the fifth time
a new character enters
that has always belonged

New ideas wafting
their way home
the nest having been kept warm,
inviting and open to change

new directions given the prayer;
new games finding their player
new connections, new reflections
no piece of the puzzle exists as just blue sky…

See you in Wonderland

  1. gorilla warfare in ancient rome. i erased my rabbit hole, and filled it with cement. it seems the inhabitants of wonderland are allergic to me. 🙁

    1. Luckily there’s Oz right next door or Never-Neverland first star to the right and straight on till morning..Never a lack of places to go and grow…Where these journeys happen seems insignificant next to the fact that they are =)

      1. I keep my ruby slippers under my bed so Peter can wear them when he visits. He’s a funny little man, carrying around an annoying fairy who says I am not allowed to travel with them any longer. It seems I may be poisonous, which makes me want to go to Ireland and catch a leprechaun. With all this being said, I liked your poem. 🙂
