Creating Reality

“Nothing exists until or unless it is observed. An artist is making something exist by observing it. And his hope for other people is that they will also make it exist by observing it. I call it ‘creative observation.’ Creative viewing.”
― William S. Burroughs

I will enter my mind palace
and work with the star stuff there
I will enter the dark places
and use shadows
I will learn the colours of emotion
and throw them where I will
Lines and curves and little blocks of wood
I’ll use time and thyme and be used in return
People oh yes
beings of all kinds
belong on the screen before me.
For I create what I see
and forget what I’ve known before.
I invent my reality
but then don’t we all?

    1. Thanks. It’s funny with some of my more fractal images as opposed to narrative pieces I sometimes feel like I am just marking time tho I do try to find new ways of doing it
