  6. Hi Gary, thank you for visiting my site! I love what you’ve written about using art for positive transformation, it is I believe the original purpose for artistic expression:) So far, ‘Garden of Deities’ from your 2009 Art Gallery is my favourite..thank you also for sharing all the beautiful quotes.

    1. thank you so much. Garden was the piece that I did that started me feeling maybe I was a visual artist after all πŸ™‚

  11. Thank you for your comments and visits to my site. And thank you for connecting me to your site here. Your art work is stunning and the metaphors embodied in your work, along with your quotes get to some of the critical issues of our times. I once lived and taught in India so I am familiar with some of your themes–Namaskar Ji. Have you seen some of the artwork of former Mossad officer Victor Ostrovsky? Also worth checking out.

take care and thank you, “ni kso ko wa” (means “We are all related”. in Blackfoot language) Jim/Omahkohkiaaiipooyii

    1. Thank you so much for your words and for your amazing blog which covers so many topics that I have an interest in.
I have not yet read Victor Ostrovsky’s work nor seen his artwork (tho both of his books are high up on my reading list) and am looking forward to it..
      Thank you again,
      G

    1. Thank you so much Carolyn, the stars are much appreciated, I am trying to make the time (read: stop procrastinating) and play along on this one…. πŸ™‚
      Blessings

  17. Warm greetings my blogging friend – I have nominated you for ‘Blog of the Year’ award. All details on my latest post which will appear later today. I hope you will accept but understand if not – walk on…

    1. John, I am so grateful for your kind words comments and these awards and I have been working on a post that acknowledges and passes on these awards but it is a rough one for me….

      1. Please my friend – no pressure intended – only do it if it is a pleasure not a task – there’s also no time limit. You are welcome for the nomination and you deserve it so much…

    1. LOL. One of my friends whom I admire most has business cards that read “I am not your F**king Guru”
Myself, I tend to see everyone as my teacher and learn the most that way πŸ™‚

  18. I’m so shy to be writing you but for some reason I’m following your blog and it’s so great to read your posts. The waters seem full of sharks so I thought maybe you might not be a shark and I’d say hi. Thank you for your blog.

    1. Nah, i’ve never identified with water predators tho i do relate well to creatures of the crossroad and wolves have always been my protectors… I just started looking over your blog and i intend to continue as you have a rather fun voice and being… Hope to talk more… feel free to check me out on Facebook

    1. I am so honoured Jennifer by your kind words. I will try to pass on this award (tho i avoid most) in the next few days tho know if i get caught up in other things, I apologize and want you to know how touched I am and what amazing company i find myself in.
      Blessings, G

      1. I did a touch of editing & this is how I rewrote my feeling & thoughts on you.

The quotations perfect, the philosopher with deep wisdom, writer with inspiration, poet with the concise words & artist of the most amazing mandalas, tarot & other paintings created from a brilliant imagination.

It is okay not to use the image. You have you space perfectly designed. πŸ™‚ Jk

  19. Hi Gary, I enjoy your blog, especially love your art. I have nominated you for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award. I know many have no interest in community generated awards, and they can often be a time consuming pain.. But, there is no obligation to accept. If you like you can check out my nominees here,http://apothecarysgarden.com/2014/01/16/the-dragons-loyalty-award-part-2/, where you will also find links to the acceptance “rules”.
Wishing you an inspired and prosperous new year and looking forward to future words and art.
    Dan

  20. Thank you for this creation in the form of a blog. You have touched me, moved me, and I am so appreciative of finding your words.

    1. Hi Adam,
Thanks so much. It is going http://cafepress.com/wakingspirals.
There are only a few designs but my intention is to add more daily.
I am trying to figure out which of my art designs to use and finding that due to resizing necessary, it is sometimes a daunting task.

      1. Congratulations! I will keep watching the development and eventually make an order. Three questions: 1) can orders be paid with paypal (I do not use credit cards if avoidable); 2) will you be printing on hoodies? and 3) will you post costs for international shipping and for custom design work?

        1. I’ve finally added more designs and on a greater variety of merchandise. Cafe press does take paypal… If they do have hoodies and i believe they do, I will print on them for sure
          3) I will get back to you on both the international shipping and custom work within the next few days
Thank you so much Adam for your interest and encouragement

          1. Hey bro!

Been away from wordpress for a break. Back now. Gotta put some work into updating my main site, but I am back online. Hope you are well and happy!

            Namaste!

          2. Glad you’re back… The Past month has been an interesting one with more to come…

      1. Great! Yeah … I just started a new literary project tonight myself, and will also hopefully get started on a new painting this weekend. Enjoy the continued summer.

  21. Hi there,

Just want to say your images are extremely beautiful and touching. I’m working on a project at the moment and would like to discuss the possibility of using some of your pieces in it, or having you design one for us. Could you please email to see if this is possible?

    Many thanks

  22. Gary, Yay I finally tracked you down, new website and all. Tried to subscribe via the button but it’s not working. Since resurrecting Art Rat Cafe I’ve been slowly reconnecting with the WP community. Tonight I was headed your way then found you hadn’t paid your rent and skipped town πŸ˜‰
Anyway, I like your new house and am looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

  23. I have been preoccupied & when I realized I wasn’t receiving your mailing, I thought you were just taking a rest. Well, yesterday I clicked on your site from my blogroll and you were gone. Freaked me out. I missed reading your last mailing. I recently received the present of new laptop/tablet and have been transferring and building it up. Your post emailing were on my older laptop with the messages of your moving. I had the bright idea to check out anything I might have left behind and was thrilled to find your last messages from your old site. Thank the spirits you haven’t disappeared. It really bummed me out, the thought of losing you, your meditative interpretations and quotations and most of all your divine artwork. I am so thrilled to know you are still out there. You were one of the first people who acknowledged my fledgling blog ‘the secret keeper’ those many years ago.

I love the whole makeover and the new look is beautiful and alive and awakening. When I realized I thought I had lost you, it really hit me the effect you have on me. Your words and art really move me. I must take better care of those who are important to my life. And I will.

Now to the issue of subscribing to your new form and location. The all new Waking Spirals seems to have a problem with my signing up to receive regular mailing. I get kicked off to some odd place in cyberspace. Is this unusual or just the new kinks of your new starting up? I will keep trying until it works. In the meantime, I will try to make it over to visit you as often as possible and add you back on my blogroll so I find easy access to Waking Spirals. You had a place there before and now I shall return you so others may find Waking Spirals and discover the wisdom and beauty on your site.

Good Luck with the growing of your world and its new beauty. This location feels so positive and filled with new energy. I love it. – jk

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words. The subscription problem is definitely a kink in the new system that i have yet to figure out…
