Epigramically Yours

1) If I knew then what I know now then now I would know even more. We learn at the pace we need to.

2) What? There’s no spiritual advancement merit badges? We’re all getting there? Ahhhhhh!!!

3) “And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make”

With all due respect to Saint Lennon, In the end I’m not so concerned about the love I take. I’d rather leave it all, spread out as far as possible…
With love, its a matter of have all you want, we can always make more =)

4)  A friend of mine used to tell me that she had wisdom. “I have wisdom so he should listen to me” In these cases there’s always a he or a she or a they who would benefit if only they’d listen..
And you know what, I do believe that she had wisdom, she sure parted with precious little of it =)
Share people…we are in this together and if we don’t help out where we can…then what are we here for?

5) People seem proud of how many others they can teach…What i find more impressive is how many people we can learn from…If you haven’t been a teacher of mine its only because i haven’t encountered you yet…

Stray Musings by G A Rosenberg

you think you know what i am saying
you know my heart so well
but have you listened to me lately?
The tapes you play
old ideas unwilling to change
you think you know it all
yet there are paths unwalked by you
and one of them is mine
you walked along in front
believing you were leading those behind
I know you want the truth
in that we are the same
two seekers trying to find
what’s real behind the games

i can let go of anything
i choose what i wish to have

feel my heArt
sorrow no more
tho you can if you wish

anger no more
tho it has fuelled you
other things can help you further faster

let go of fear
tho it has taught you
there are better things to learn

Noone can take away who you are
tho you can give it away

Game On!

Looks like i’m gonna surprise you

we imagine we create and we reflect

Quote of the Day – March 8 2011

“Nothing in the world is more flexible and yielding than water. Yet when it attacks the firm and the strong, none can withstand it, because they have no way to change it. So the flexible overcome the adamant, the yielding overcome the forceful. Everyone knows this, but no one can do it.”

Ripples of Love by G A Rosenberg

Stray Thoughts and Random Bits of Starlight

Thinking about friendship
adulthood, mystery, history and love
Time an invention to keep it all straight
yet it is a toy that we reorder and rewind
so to show its unreality
everything taking place concurrently
consciousness sweeps through it all
i find myself walking through yesterday with a brief stop next year

a feeling you enter into when you know you can’t win
a gift a decision to no longer play a game
that you designed to lose
yet surrender brings gifts
among them larger fields
that playing never could

words on paper or on the screen
how can you express what I’ve seen
flying, soaring answers found
hope and light abound

we take our 3d creations and we hang them on refrigerators
we jump up and down excitedly
“See what we did, see what we did”
Source smiles

Water and fire am I
the starry sky and earth as well
I feel the mountains and the grass
squirrels running up a tree in my forest
mermaids swimming off my shores
and ships flying through my sky
I walk through future fields
on distant planets
feel joy in my heat
no need for thought
understanding is always there
i take your hand
we walk through the night
and share this
you smile
and i touch galaxies..

Which is better
Striving to love
or railing against those not succeeding?

How can an angry ‘fuck you!’
sound better than “I love you’
no matter the context
and how can so many find the two equivalent?
