Here is a poem written by a friend of mine from http://palestinerose.wordpress.com:
We had them…
Tall trees that gave us shade
From your scorching hate;
We go on, now,
Half deadÂ
And half bled
Existing
In the burning sunshine
Of your apartheid hell.
We had them…
Tall trees that gave us shade
From your scorching hate;
We go on, now,
Half dead
And half bled
Existing
In resistance —
Free Palestine!
It’s amazing sometimes how long it takes to realize injustice. This is a first attempt by me to illustrate things of a political nature. Tho to me what the Palestinians have to live with every day goes beyond politics. I realize there are no easy answers yet sometimes our hearts speak loudly that things must change and something must be done. One way or another Palestine must be free.
There are no easy answers. Only right ones, just ones.
You are So right… I tend to go towards being a hope fiend. In this case that Palestine will be free and a just solution will be found
I hope so too, justice usually finds its way given time. In the mean time they have practically imprisoned children along with everyone else. Future generations will be embarrassed I feel.
