Quote of the Day – November 10 2012

“There are souls in this world who have the gift of finding joy everywhere, and leaving it behind them when they go.”
― Frederick William Faber

Ambition can be a strange thing. I seldom think of myself as ambitious because while there are things i may wish for in the moment, there is very little I want or strive for.  Perhaps tho, being or becoming this person with the capacity for locating and transmitting joy truly seems like a worthwhile endeavour and a challenge worthy of facing.

Blessings, G

  1. Cool artwork. I also don’t really strive for much in terms of material possessions, wealth, or fame, but hold myself to a higher standard by trying to be more loving and truly compassionate. 🙂

  2. think wisely, work diligently, success follows wherever you go, leaving a legacy that stays behind but flourishes in time..your thoughts have realized, your work is rewarded..and you are acknowledged..

  3. I am similar, G. There is nothing that I wish to ‘strive’ for… I think the answer for me is to ‘let it happen’. I know that I am achieving, but without the desire being a burning ambition; as I see in others.
Also, the faith that life is happening as it should, is a natural basis for whatever I do…. Sounds lacking luster, and yet it is far from this; it is a peaceful and calm knowing….
