“There may be a great fire in our soul, yet no one ever comes to warm himself at it, and the passers-by see only a wisp of smoke.”
― Vincent van Gogh
Who inspires you? At who’s spiritual fire do you warm yourself knowing that with them you will never freeze? Do you inspire yourself? Do you hope to inspire others? We ALL have fire in our soul. At times it may feel like an extinguishing candle but at other times, sometimes very singular times but at least sometimes, we know ourselves to hold a blowtorch, just waiting for a chance to inspire others and definitely at the very least we all have the ability to self inspire ourselves to never before dreamed of heights.

Thank you 🙂
There is so many source of inspiration that all I need is to open my mind and eyes..let the heart decide what to light the warmth inside.
yes for me as well, and sometimes the sources contradict each other which has its fun elements as well.
how true
I find myself coming here for a lot of inspiration actually 🙂 And at other times I find the fire of inspiration in the quiet times, with nothing around me, my hands still, my mind calm. I think sometimes half the battle is figuring out the fuel our internal fire wants at that moment
and sometimes for me I need to avoid pouring rocket fuel on the fire of my imagination… Heavy 🙂
So much inspiration everywhere in our lives if we are open – the old lady on the bus starting up conversations with all around her – the mentally challenged people I work with who share their visions and surreal art and invite me into their strange worlds – the sax player in the subway who wails his music to the gods – my sons and their energy and enthusiasm for life – so much and so much more…
You’re inspired and inspire in return — talk about the best way possible to pay it forward 🙂
