Quote of the Day – November 19 2012

“Funny how “question” contains the word “quest” inside it, as though any small question asked is a journey through briars.”
― Catherynne M. Valente, Under in the Mere

I can see the quest that comes from asking who I am? What I want or what my dream is can lead to amazing transformational journeys that bring new quests in their answering. Yet what about the so called simple questions? What am I hungry for? What is 2+ 2? Did I remember to feed the dog? What journey can these questions embark us on if we are open to them. More and more I find myself open to adventure. More and more I fin just how much there is out there just by being open to life.
Blessings, G

  1. The Quiet Moment blows me away. Building stars. Do u think the universe is still creating more stars or is it finished creating and just letting everything that is here already just evolve? Quest—that is a great way to look at what we do in life. i am on a quest for meaning and discovering the truth. these are two of my possibilites for what the holy grail symbolizes. in my art and writing i am looking for those less than perfect thoughts that allow one to see things “through a glass darkly.” i need to reorganize my life and let it expand. that is the quest i am on now. maybe it has always been the quest i have been on. look for perfection—the definitive and the last visible reality of truth and meaning. will i discover it in art? maybe. i don’t think you can discover it in bombing the hell out of a broken people that just want a land and place to live in that is their own and that won’t be constantly in the threat of being taken away. give peace a chance. j.k. the secret keeper

    1. Thank you so much… Glad you liked it..
The quest thing gets interesting… A friend on face book elucidated the word question, to not only be the quest but the quest I on 🙂 Made so much sense

      1. I love the extension of quest to quest I on. Question is such a good word. I always seem to have a lot of them and almost if not more quests. There is a certain symmetry to it all. It does make sense out of all the non-sense. 😎

  2. Seek and search for adventure and findings, that’s what quest is all about
Some answers are within our minds and some are out.
Search till your thirst gets quenched, by the knowledge you found
Up and above, round and round, in air and ground :))
Never was it lost..but you found ..like a hound
