I love Chrissie Hynde’s voice, Also Pink Floyd and Bob Geldof.
The stated intention of this song has been to bring attention to the plight of Gary McKinnon, a Scottish hacker with Asperger’ s Syndrome who with the aid of a simple perl script, hacked into Department of Defence computers looking for evidence of UFO’s. Whatever he found has sufficiently alarmed the powers that be in the US enough that they have fought extremely hard to extradite him to fight US judgement, despite the fact that he has already faced justice in the UK. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_McKinnon

I remember reading “Be Here Now” when I was 13. It had a colourful cover and fun pictures and it attracted me in the bookstore :). The ideas and concepts I encountered in this book brought me way beyond the scope of the things I learned in Hebrew School :D. Amazing so many years later and there are still things I learn that I know in that book and still need to realize I know them…

Something a bit different. This is a promo film for what I consider one of the most beautifully drawn Tarot decks I have seen. The “Legacy of the Divine” tarot by Ciro Marchetti. Not only do I love the artwork of this deck, I love the symbolism.
