In a time of destruction, create something.”
― Maxine Hong Kingston
This quote puts me in mind of the blues and spirituals; of people reaching the limits of endurance and yet out of their despair, amazing song bursts out that expresses the bleak feeling that only the soul can know but also somehow exorcises and heals it. Love and jobs have been lost. People close to us have died, we become ill and yet words, music or art comes out in a way that’s truer than almost any other. Perhaps, that is an ideal I speak of and yet I’ve seen it, some people can get a hang nail and melt into a puddle of self-imposed drama while others can take the most profound pain and transform that and themselves. I know which one of those people I want to be.

When in melancholy when In pain, when I have forgotten all in vain
I feel more, I listen too and when I read, I am with you
Poetry or songs, of love we lost,
Limbs are torn, mind forlorn
Despair distress, death is mistress
Hope are from words, rejuvenating inside
and the we can rise, again for cause
stand upright for thoughts..
Beautiful as always. Thank you
thank you for encouraging
Namaste G,
Music, Art, Designing etc… these are all part of creativity and being co-creators of this world in which we’ve been incarnating for many eons in different ways and different forms. Each of us, we have a Soul Song and when we thought that someone whom we’ve never met before, seems or feel familiar ..then we’ve met them before … at some point of our many soul journeys on Planet Earth or on other planets or galaxies … everything is possible because we are all Beings of Light. We’re all a part of God/Spirit/Creator and we are all divine love, co-creating as One.
It is when as humans, we feel that there is a ‘void’ when someone close to us, pass on to continue their own soul journey … that’s when we tend to feel the void as humans and then we’re inspired to create something else meaningfully beautiful to replace that void because we ‘can’t stand’ the void. As humans, we can’t take the emptiness as it’s only natural that we ‘need’ to feel wholesome again.
The only truth we need to understand is this – learn to discern that no one nor any material things can fill the void within us. Only we, as co-creators can fill the void within .. not through 3D hoarding with material things but to fill the ‘void’ with our spiritual soul essence through creativity and enjoying it with the rest of the world. Personally, that’s how I feel, that through our own soul essence, we are able to discern with much wisdom, love, serenity, compassion and balance …and know that when we’ve achieved this delicate form of balance … everything else will fall into place as it should be and so it is.
Much love, bright sunshine and blessings to you and yours,
Agnes
